THE CLEMENTINES

The Clementines are a contemporary folk trio based in lutruwita/Tasmania. They are known for their intricate vocal harmonies and unique acapella arrangements of classic folk, country and pop, as well as their own original songs.

The Clementines have performed at various festivals including Cygnet Folk Festival, Festival of Voices, and Mount Roland Folk Festival. In 2017 they were selected as Director’s Choice Performer for the Finale Concert of Festival of Voices. Their original song Thicker than Blood won the 2019 Cygnet Folk Festival Song Contest. In 2022, all three artists were members of the women’s choir that featured on the soundtrack of the award-winning Amazon TV series, Deadloch.

LOU BRADLEY

Lou Bradley moved to the Huon Valley in 2022. A long time singer songwriter, she started taking her craft seriously after receiving a grant from John Butler and then an ARIA finalist nomination for her first studio album. A self-confessed hippie, country music outlaw, and continuously touring artist and song writer, Lou is no stranger to living a life devoted to the highlights and estrangement that comes with a career in pursuing original music.

After 20 years raising her family in the hills of Mullumbimby with her banjo playing husband Phil, the Huon Valley hills are now her downtime home and the sound of her songs confirms they are indeed made in the hills. Unique, a little down-home a little rough but warm and familiar all at the same time.

CONNOR JURY

Conor is a long time local with generations before him from Glen Huon

Connor has just started writing songs and has discovered that song writing and singing his songs to make people feel good is what he wants to do. He sounds like he comes from the hills with his mountain folk songs and smooth old soul vocals

This show will be Connor’s very first show!
